I just recieved this recipe from a friend of mine and haven't had a chance to try it yet, but it looks delicious. Quite different flavor then any other cookie I've had. Licorice lovers will love this one

- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 strings of black licorice, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp anise extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

Ingredients

3 eggs shopping list
1 cup sugar shopping list
2 strings of black licorice, finely chopped shopping list
1/2 tsp anise extract shopping list
1/2 tsp baking powder shopping list
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour shopping list

How to make it

Preheat oven to 350F.
With a mixer, beat eggs & sugar until creamy.
Add licorice bits and extract, baking powder and flour.
Mix well.
Drop by spoonfuls onto a well-greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
