Pistachio Nut Swirl Cake

- ***Cake*** shopping list
- 1 pkg yellow cake mix shopping list
- 1 pkg instant pistachio pudding shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1 C sour cream shopping list
- 1/2 C oil shopping list
- 1/2 tsp almond extract shopping list
- ***Filling*** shopping list
- 1/2C sugar shopping list
- 1tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2C finely chopped walnuts shopping list
How to make it
- Beat all cake ingredients at medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Mix filling ingredients together.
- Pour 1/3 of the batter into a 10 inch tube pan (Bundt or angel food pan). Sprinkle with half of the sugar/nut mixture. Repeat the layers and top with the remaining batter.
- Bake at 350F for 50 minutes or until center springs back when lightly touched.
- Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.

I switched and used pineapple cake mix and omitted the almond extract and it was fantastic. The combination of pineapple, pistachio pudding & cinnamon nut mixture is heavenly! I always get rave reviews when I bring this one to a church potluck. ...more
