Basil Lime Sorbet

- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 3/4 cup fresh lime juice shopping list
- 20 fresh basil leaves, minced shopping list
How to make it
- Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Stir well until sugar dissolves.
- Allow to boil 1 minute.
- Remove from heat.
- Combine syrup, lime juice and basil in blender and puree.
- Pour mixture into a container and cover.
- Store in freezer until completely frozen, about 2 hours.
- Break frozen mixture into pieces.
- Place in blender and blend until smooth.
- Return to container, cover and store in freezer until ready to serve.
