- 1 Broiler or fryer chicken - cut into pieces shopping list
- 1 lemon halved shopping list
- salt shopping list
- 1/3 Cup butter or margarine shopping list
- 2/3 Cup cooking sauterne (sweet white desert wine) . shopping list
- 1 Cup seedless green grapes shopping list
- paprika shopping list
How to make it
- Cut chicken in pieces
- Rub chicken well with lemon; sprinkle with salt.
- Dry on rack for 15 minutes.
- Heat butter in skillet until bubbly.
- Brown chicken in butter, pour in sauterne
- Simmer until chicken is tender 30-35 minutes
- Baste occasionally with sauce
- About 3 minutes before end of cooking add grapes
- Dash generously with paprika
- Arrange chicken and grapes on warm platter, serve sauce in separate bowl
