Mini Pizzas
From alaskanmom 17 years agoIngredients
- 1lb. ground beef shopping list
- 1lb. Jimmy Dean sausage shopping list
- 1lb. Velvetta cheese, cut in chunks(for easier melting, or melt ahead of time in the microwave to speed up the melting process) shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. Worchestershire Sauce shopping list
- 2/3 tsp. oregano shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 2 loaves Hearty rye cocktail bread shopping list
How to make it
- Brown the ground beef & sausage, drain & return to pan.(if there's big meat chunks, break them up)
- Add the Velvetta cheese chunks. And over medium high heat let cheese melt, stirring to combine it with the meat.
- After cheese is melted & combined, stir in the Worchestershire sauce, oregano, & garlic powder.
- Spread meat/cheese mixture onto Rye bread and place on cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
- This also can be made ahead. Do all the stovetop work, and put mixture on bread slices, then on cookie sheets to put in the freezer for 1 hour or till frozen. Place in ziplock baggies or any container and take to your gathering. Then pop them in the oven set at 350 for 10 minutes.
- The servings say 30, only because each bread loaf says 15 servings. It could feed that many, only if everyone had 3 pieces. And at our gatherings, everyone eats more than 3 each. Now beings there's only 3 of us to eat this, we always have plenty left in the freezer to cook up whenever we want a snack, or have company
