Lynnes Pineapple Chili

- 2 pounds ground beef or turkey shopping list
- 1 green pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1 red or yellow pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1 can (4-5 oz.) diced jalepeno peppers, drained shopping list
- 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 can (15 oz.) pinto beans, drained shopping list
- 1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes shopping list
- 1 can (20 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained shopping list
- 1 can or bottle (12 oz.) dark beer (or whatever you have in the fridge!) shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1-2 Tablespoons chili powder (according to your taste) shopping list
- 2 teaspoons cumin shopping list
- 1-2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce (according to your "heat index") shopping list
- 1 -2 teaspoons red pepper flakes (according to your "heat index") shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Brown ground beef and rain excess fat. Add peppers, jalapeno peppers and garlic. Cook for approximately 4 minutes or until peppers are translucent. Add all remaining ingredients. Smmer for at least 1 hour.

Very interesting, baudri! The combination of flavors here is super. The best part is that it isn't a "quick cook" chili. I always think chili needs to simmer away to develop flavor. Thanks for the post and you got my 5.
