White Chocolate Toffee Bread Pudding

- 1 (16 oz) loaf French bread - cut into 1 in. cubes shopping list
- 1 cup white chocolate chips shopping list
- 1/2 cup toffee bits shopping list
- 4 cups milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 5 eggs shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- Caramel Sauce: shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk (but best with heavy cream, tsk, tsk;) shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 Tb. vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Pudding: Grease 9x13in. pan, add bread to pan and sprinkle with white chocolate chips and toffee bits.
- Heat milk and butter. Add sugar. Mix until melted
- Pour small amount of milk mixture into eggs. Stir constantly, add eggs to milk mixture. Add salt, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour over bread and white chocolate chips. Bake 45 minutes in 350 degree oven.
- Sauce: Combine butter and brown sugar. Cook until sugar melts. Stir in milk. Bring to a boil. Stir in vanilla.
