Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • make pie crust roll out bottom crust
  • peel and slice pears (add one apple if you'd like)
  • add flour, zest and half the lemon juiced
  • add spices toss till pears are covered
  • roll out top crust
  • arrange pears in pie and top with crust
  • put some vent holes in top
  • bake for 45 to 50 min.

    Made this tonight, very good. I might try backing off on the cinnamon and I'd like to back off on the lemon, but I used lemon water to keep the asian pears from browning while I was peeling/slicing and I'm kind of afraid to not do that.... All in all, I will use the recipe again. Thanks for posting it!
