Gnocchi With A Gorgonzola And Smoked Salmon Sauce

- 30ML butter shopping list
- 180G gorgonzola, CRUMBLED shopping list
- PINCH ground nutmeg shopping list
- 45ML brandy (OPTIONAL) shopping list
- 190ML chicken stock shopping list
- 250 CREAM shopping list
- 500G READY-MADE gnocchi shopping list
- olive oil, FOR DRIZZLING shopping list
- 100G smoked salmon, SLICED shopping list
- PARMESON cheese AND fresh herbs, TO SERVE shopping list
How to make it
- MELT THE BUTTER IN A LARGE POT
- ADD THE GORGONZOLA CHEESE AND STIR UNTIL IT HAS MELTED
- ADD THE NUTMEG, BRANDY AND THE CHICKEN STOCK, THEN WHISK IN THE CREAM
- BRING TO THE BOIL
- PLACE THE GNOCCHI IN A LARGE PAN AND DREIZZLE WITH OLIVE OIL
- COVER WITH A LID AND COOK UNTIL SOFT IN THE CENTRE
- REMOVE THE LID AND FRYN UNTIL CRISP AND GOLDEN
- ADD THE SALMON TO THE SAUCE AND LEAVE IT TO SIMMER FOR TWO MINUTES
- POUR A LITTLE SAUCE INTO EACH DISH AND TOP WITH GNOCCHI
- SEASON TO TASTE WITH SALT (BE CAREFUL WITH THE SALT) AND FRESHLY GROUND BLACK PEPPER AND GARNISH WITH PARMESAN SHAVINGS AND HERS.
