Williams Barbeque Sauce

- 1 cup butter shopping list
- 4 small onions grated shopping list
- 8 large cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 cup Mexican chili powder shopping list
- 2 tablespoons crushed red chili pepper shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup vinegar shopping list
- 1 cup worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 4 cups catsup shopping list
- 1/2 cup sweet soy sauce (or 1/4 cup soy, 1/4 cup molasses) shopping list
- 1 can (6 ounce) tomato paste shopping list
- 1 tablespoon white pepper shopping list
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning or seasoned salt shopping list
- 2 tablespoons Tabasco shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in a saucepan.
- Cook onion and garlic in butter until soft.
- Add other ingredients and stir until well mixed.
- Cook over low heat for 30 minutes.

I made this sauce today for pulled pork. Yum!!! The only thing I did different was use half of the crush red chili pepper. I was a little concerned that my family might not like the heat. It turned out great THX so much!

This was my first attempt at homemade BBQ sauce and it certainly did not disappoint! Great flavor and lots of kick! I used it on shredded beef for sandwiches and plan on trying it with some chicken tomorrow night. Thanks for sharing!
