Sauteed Brussel Sprouts with Tarragon

- 1 to 1 1/2 lbs raw brussel sprouts shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic shopping list
- 2 Tbs oilve Oil shopping list
- 2 Tbs butter shopping list
- 1 med red onion sliced shopping list
- salt, fresh grated pepper shopping list
- 1 small bunch of fresh tarron rough chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Wash, and clean brussel sprouts, removing any discoored outer leaves and coarse roots.
- Slice brussel sprouts in half
- In a skillet melt butter and olive oil and add the brusel sprouts and cook and stir about 5 minutes over medium heat to coat well
- Add onion and cook a few more minutes.
- Agg garlic and cook and stir another minute.
- Season all liberally with salt and pepper
- Reduce heat to low, cover and let cook 7 to 10 minutes or until sprouts become paler in color and fork tender.
- Be careful not to over cook them!
- You want them to hold shape and yet be tender! So it's easier to slice large sprouts in half for best cooking
- Add the tarragon and stir well.
- Serve!
