- 3 tbsp /20g rum shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp mixed spice (all spice) shopping list

- 1 cup /75g shredded/desiccated coconut shopping list
- 1 x 395g can sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- ice with white icing and red and green sweets. shopping list
How to make it
- Crush the biscuits- I put them in a large bowl and bash them with the end of a rolling pin. Then crumble the big bits with my hands.
- Add the Rice Krispies, cocoa, spices and coconut. Mix.
- In a separate bowl mix the rum and the mixed fruit. (Leaving it for a while is best so the fruit absorbs the rum). Then add to the dry ingredients.
- Mix everything well and add condensed milk.
- Mix well until all coated.
- Roll into balls using wet hands.
- Makes 20 good-sized rum-balls.
- No cooking required!
- These are best kept for a few days or even a couple of weeks (yes!) Store in an air tight container in the fridge and decorate when needed.
- Decorate with white icing sugar (mixed with a little water) and red and green sweets.
- Happy Chistmas!
