A zesty traditional Cuban meat rub with garlic, lime and cumin. It is usually made as a marinade or sauce and is delicious as such, but I have developed this rub to compliment just about anything it can go on.
Ingredients
- 8 Tbs. minced dried garlic shopping list
- 6 Tbs. ground black pepper shopping list
- 4 Tbs. kosher salt shopping list
- 3 Tbs. ground dried cumin shopping list
- 2 Tbs. dried lemon zest shopping list
- 2 Tbs. dried orange zest shopping list
- 2 Tbs. dried onion flakes shopping list
- 2 tsp. habanera powder shopping list
How to make it
- Mix (makes 1.75 cups of rub)
- Rub on meat
- Cook
- Enjoy
- Store in air tight container (not the meat, the rub)
