Chocolate Philly Fudge

This recipe is from Philadelphia Cream Cheese and was introduced in 1951. apparently its still requested all the time and it is good, easy and fudgy!!!
Ingredients
- 4 cups sifted confectioner's sugar shopping list
- 1 8oz. package Philadelphia cream cheese shopping list
- 4 1 oz. squares of unsweetened chocolate shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- dash of salt shopping list
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts shopping list
How to make it
- Melt chocolate either in double boiler or microwave,, cool slightly.
- Gradually add sugar to softened cream cheese , mixing well until blended.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Spread in a greased 8 inch square pan
- Chill several hours or overnight
- Makes 1 3/4 lb.
