A and W Sauce For Coney Syle Fries

old recipe supposedly from A and W restaurant chain Served over hot French Frys Would be great on pasta also !
Ingredients
- 1/2 small onion, chopped. shopping list
- 1 pound lean hamburger meat. shopping list
- 1 can tomato soup undiluted shopping list
- 1/3 tomato soup can of water. shopping list
- 1 package of taco seasoning Mix. shopping list
- A few crushed chili flakes shopping list
- Prpeared French Fries shopping list
How to make it
- Saute onions in a little oil in a large sauce pan until opaque.
- Add hamburger meat and brown thoroughly.
- Add tomato soup and water.
- Mix in Taco Seasoning Mix and crushed chilies and stir well.
- Cover and simmer for about a half hour.
- Serve the meat sauce over freshly prepared French fries.

Yum!!!! They finally put an A&W in Bracebridge this year. I may no longer be a teenager, but I used to love their 'teenburgers' when I got the chance to buy them!! Gotta try out their new 'uncleburger' now, I see!!! HIGH FIVE :+D

This sounds like what I have been looking for for hot dogs. Can't find a good chili sauce,love chili dogs.This sounds like it just might be perfect!And easy too.
