Ingredients

How to make it

  • Wash spinach, drain and coarse chop
  • Mocrowave 3 to 5 minutes to wilt
  • Drain in colander and press out any excess liquid.
  • Place in bowl and add onion, seasoning, egg, ands enough crumbs to bind mixture.
  • Shape into patties, you should get 5 or 6
  • Fry in some oil ( I used Basil Oil ) over medium high heat, golden on each side
  • drain on toweling paper.
  • Serve at once
  • Note: each type of crumb gives a different taste and texture.
  • Addition of raisins also give a unique delicious flavor

    I am sure that these 'veggie' Patties are going to be a real 'crowd-pleaser' at my next 'Family Gathering,' since I have several vegetarians in my extended family...However, I believe that 'everyone' will really like them!

    These can be eaten as is with a side sauce or even in a bun. Eat them how you like. I like sour cream on them! My vegetarian frind, ate them as is
