Cinnamon Waffle Cookies

This is not like your the usual waffles. It is a German recipe and the waffle is almost like a shortbread cookie.

Mix all ingredients.
Dough will be very stiff.
Form golf size balls from dough.
Put dough ball in your Waffle maker and bake for approx. 3 to 4 minutes or until no more steam escapes from waffle iron.
Serve waffle cookies as they are or with whipped cream and cherries.

Yes they are very easy and just a great sweet treat. I love them just like that right off the hot waffle iron. They are great with a cup of coffee. When I get unexpected guests I throw them togehter and they are always a big HIT.
