Grandmas Old Fashioned Kuchen

- Crust shopping list
- 3 C flour shopping list
- 3 t. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 t. salt shopping list
- 1/2 C Crisco shortening or butter shopping list
- 3/4 C sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1-2 T milk shopping list
- Filling shopping list
- 1 C sour cream shopping list
- 1/2 C sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 4 T flour shopping list
- 3 to 5 cups of your favorite berries( I have used raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and combinations of them all), diced apples, or sliced plums shopping list
- cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
- Add flour and enough milk to make soft dough.
- Roll or pat out and line 13 x 9 greased pan.
- Fill with you choice of fruit.
- Mix sour cream, sugar and eggs.
- Pour over fruit filling.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour, then reduce to 325 until set. (About another 20 -30 minutes).
- Serve with whipped cream, and/or dust with powdered sugar.
- Limit plum servings to small children! :~)
