Ready For Summer Frozen Daiquiris

This came from my sister, Cindy, way back in 1978, and I've been enjoying it ever since. It’s a favorite summer frozen cocktail, and handy to have in the freezer for that last minute BBQ or unexpected company. Ingredients
- 5 quart plastic ice cream bucket, or similar size freezer container shopping list
- 1 (12 ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate shopping list
- 2 (12 ounce) cans frozen lemonade concentrate shopping list
- 16 ounce bottle 7-Up soda/pop shopping list
- 2 cups rum shopping list
- (additional 7-up for serving) shopping list
How to make it
- In a 5 quart freezer container with a lid, add all ingredients and mix to blend.
- Place container in freezer and freeze for at least 2 days, stirring a couple times to keep the ingredients blended (the alcohol will sink to the bottom of the container, and if you don’t stir it, you will end up with some wicked strong drinks at the bottom of the container!).
- To serve, stir the frozen mixture then fill an 8 ounce glass ½ full of it, then stir in 7-Up to the top, adding the 7-Up slowly, as it will fizz and run over the glass if you add it too quickly.
- Just keep adding some of the pop and stirring it in, adding more and stirring again – you get my drift!
- There will be some “froth” at the top of the glass from the carbonation, and this is fine…it gives your guests (and you) a nice little foamy mustache when you take that first sip!

These are one of my favorites.... supposed to be 104 here on Sunday.... I better run to the store tomorrow and make these up...hummm.. no the devil might come and get me if I drink them on Sunday...
