Another old time sandwich made again as it was and still is so much fun to eat. Originally made with Wonder white bread back in 1957.
Ingredients
- This was a favorite snack to make for myself and friends long ago. All my friends would always come to my house as we were pretty laid back about kids coming over. We would eat almost a whole loaf of bread making these sandwiches. shopping list
- It is the Sandwich Rule to first eat or cut off the crust of the bread. shopping list
- Then it is so good to start eating the heart of the sandwich and you only chew on the soft center and juicy center. Gosh it tastes so good. shopping list
- Cracked or white bread shopping list
- butter or margarine shopping list
- cinnamon and sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Toast bread.
- Very important, spread butter Edge to Edge.
- Sprinkle on lots of mixed cinnamon and sugar..
- Eat or cut off crust
- Eat the center, oh yea
- Wrap up the short toaster cord with a Wrap-N-Strap for easy storage.

I've eaten cinnamon toast all my life. It was one of my favorites as a child. But I never had it as a sandwich with the cinnamon, sugar and butter in the middle! Sounds great! Where has this been all my life?!
