Curried Potato Chips

- I or 2 large idaho potatoes shopping list
- 1 cup of vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 clove of garlic finely minced OR 1 teaspoon of garlic salt shopping list
- 1-2 teaspoons of curry powder shopping list
- salt and pepper if you wish shopping list
How to make it
- Pell potato if you wish-not necessary.
- Slice thinly with a chef's nice or mandilin.
- Rinse with cold water.
- Drain well in a colander or in paper towels
- Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350 degress.
- You will know when it's hot enough when a potato slice sizzles in contact.
- Fry chips a few at a time, stirring occasionaly to prevent from sticking
- When all chips are done, drain and place in a large bowl.
- In a seperate smaller bowl, add 1 tavlesoon of the hot frying oil.
- Add garlic and let sit for 30 secconds (After 30 secconds, DO NOT remove garlic).
- Add curry powder, and salt and pepper.
- Mix well to combine.
- Drizzle mixture over chips immediately.
- Toss gently to coat well.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
