Microwave Pralines

You can't find a good praline in Los Angeles so you have to make them for yourself. I make them in the microwave during the holidays and for school bakesales and gifts. This is a tried and true recipe and a recipe that really works each time! Read more (Its also a five ingredient treat!) See less
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups of brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup of heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 2 cups of pecan halves shopping list
- 2 TB of regular, salted butter shopping list
- 1 tsp. of pure vanilla extract shopping list
How to make it
- Using a large microwave-proof glass bowl, add the cream and the brown sugar together.
- Microwave on high for 12 minutes.
- Remove the bowl from microwave and add the butter, vanilla and pecans.
- Stir well.
- Using a large tablespoon, drop the candy on to "Release" aluminum foil, a silicone matt or waxed paper.
- Let cool and eat!
