Balsmaic Marinated Flank Steak

- 1 flank steak about 1 1/2 pounds shopping list
- 1/3 cup fine chopped sweet onion shopping list
- 1 clove garlic chopped shopping list
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons olive oil shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper I like the cracked shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
How to make it
- Socor both sided of steak in criss cross pattern cutting 1/8 or so deep, place in pan
- combine onion, garlic,2 tablespoons of vinegar and oil and pepper in small bowl
- Pour over steak, turn to coat both sides
- Sit in frig for at least 4 hours or overnight
- Heat grill
- Remove from marinade
- Sprinkle both sides with salt
- Grill covered over medium heat for 9-12 minutes
- 140 for med-rare
- Place on cutting board and let sit for 5 minutes
- Cut diagionally in to thin slices
- Pour accumulated juices over top and drizzle with remaining vinegar
- Enjoy! I did!

I like balsamic with anything! I've never been a flank steak person either, but I'll take your word for it and try it! I might even just try it with a friendlier cut of steak it sounds so delicious!
