Caribbean Jerk Sauce

- 3 -TABLESPOONS butter shopping list
- 2 - TABLESPOONS MINCED green onion ( WHITE AND LIGHT GREEN PARTS ONLY) shopping list
- 1 CUP water shopping list
- 3/4 -CUP ketchup shopping list
- 1/2 - CUP PLUS 2 TABLESPOONS dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 -CUP apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 2 TABLESPOONS white vinegar shopping list
- 2 TABLESPOONS FRANK’S cayenne pepper sauce shopping list
- 2 TEASPOONS worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 TEASPOONS lemon juicE shopping list
- 1- 1/2 TEASPOONS cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 TEASPOON dried parsley flakes shopping list
- 1 TEASPOON cornstarch shopping list
- 1/2 TEASPOON salt shopping list
- 1/2 TEASPOON garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 TEASPOON DRIED thyme shopping list
- 1/4 TEASPOON onion powder shopping list
- 1/8 TEASPOON ground cloves shopping list
- 1/8 TEASPOON ground nutmeg shopping list
- 1/8 TEASPOON ground allspice shopping list
- 1/8 TEASPOON rubbed sage shopping list
How to make it
- MELT MARGAGRINE OVER MEDIUM -LOW HEAT.
- ADD MINCED GREEN ONIONS AND COOK FOR 5 MINUTES.
- YOU JUST WANT TO SWEAT THE ONIONS TO SOFTEN THEM UP.;YOU’RE NOT LOOKING TO BROWN THEM.
- REMOVE THE PAN FROM THE HEAT, AND WHISK IN ALL THE REMAINING INGREDIENTS.
- PUT THE PAN BACK ON THE STOVE AND BRING TO A BOIL OVER MEDIUM HEAT.
- REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER FOR 45 MINUTES OR UNTIL SAUCE HAS DRKENED AND THICKENS.
- COVER SAUCE. THEN COOL AND CHILL UNTIL READY TO USE ……OR FIX YOUR WINGS AND POUR ON THEM TO COAT, OR USE ON ANY OTHER MEATS YOU LIKE ............
- MAKES 2 CUPS

Caribbean Jerk Sauce is such a good recipe, they do not come any better than this.

This recipe was a surprise.
Excellent Excellent taste. Omit extra vinegar or cayenne if you don't want as tangy or spicy. Hold adding water until end, as I wanted it to be more thick than thin.
Definitely a winner !gnvdude in Gainesville loved it
