Sauteed Spinach and Garlic with Green Onions

- 2 tsp. olive oil shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic, sliced thin shopping list
- 12-ounces of fresh baby spinach, can use canned or frozen shopping list
- 1 tsp. lemon juice shopping list
- 1/4 tsp.kosher salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper shopping list
- 5 green onions, sliced thin, can use less, I just love them! shopping list
- 1/3 cup bacon bits shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in a large saute pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and green onions and saute, stirring continuously, 1 -1 1/2 minutes.Do not lt garlic and onions, burn.
- Stir in spinach and cook, stirring continuously, until spinach has wilted, about 2 minutes, Remove from heat.
- Stir in lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- Add bacon bits and toss all together..
- Remove to a serving dish with a slotted spoon.
