Fusillli With Salsa Rosa

- 8 oz uncooked fusilli pasta shopping list
- 1 lb italian sausage, casing removed and crumbled shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 1/4 t dried red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1 c sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 1 28oz can crushed tomatoes shopping list
- 1/2 c heavy cream shopping list
- 1/4 c fresh chopped basil or parsley shopping list
- Grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare fusilli as package directs, drain. Meanwhile in large skillet, over med heat-high heat saute sausage, garlic and dried red pepper flakes for 3 to 4 minutes or until brown; drain. Add mushrooms and crushed tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, simmer 10 minutes. Add heavy cream; simmer 2 more minutes. Add fusilli and basil; cook 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
