Chinese Lettuce and Mushroom Stir Fry

- 2 handfuls of raw lettuce leaves (roughly shred with hand) shopping list
- 1 tsp Minced garlic shopping list
- 1 Tbsp dried shrimps (soaked in hot water til soft) shopping list
- 5-6 pcs Shiitake mushroom (fresh, or if hydrated - soak in hot water) shopping list
- 4 Tbsp water shopping list
- Pinch of Chilli Flakes (or 1 tsp chilli paste) shopping list
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~ shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp Soya Suace/tamari shopping list
- 1 tsp Cooking (rice) wine shopping list
- Dash of sesame oil shopping list
How to make it
- Mix sauce together in a small bowl.
- In a pan, heat oil and add minced garlic and dried shrimps. Fry til fragrant.
- Add lettuce leaves and mushrooms. Cover with a lid and let it simmer for about 2-3 mins, or until lettuce shrink a little.
- Remove lid and pour in sauce, water and chilli flakes and stir.
- Simmer til boiling, then remove from heat.
- (Optional)
- Garnish with chopped scallions & Fried Shallots. :)
