How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Cut shortening into flour.
  • Add milk slowly til the right consistency. (NOT TO THICK OR TO THIN)
  • You want the dough to be light not packy.
  • Roll out by hand with flour on your hands.
  • Bake in a greased iron pan for the best crusted bottoms till bread becomes lightly browned.

    She has a great recipe. Did you or anyone else know that when you cut your bisuits out not to twist the cutter into the dough? You seal it that way and they don't rise as well. Chef on TV said that is why so many's biscuits and other recipes don't do as well. Taught me a thing or two when he said it. :) A Sharing Moment ha ha ha ha.
