Melon Bubble Tea

- 2 cups prepared green tea shopping list
- 1/3 cups sugar shopping list
- 4 cups water shopping list
- 1/2 cup black or pastel-color raw topioca pearls ( tapioca pearls are availble in Asian markets and gourmet food stories) shopping list
- 4 cups melon chunks (cantaloupe, honeydew or watermelon) shopping list
- 4 cups ice cubes shopping list
- 2 cups orange juice shopping list
- 1/2 cup coconut milk shopping list
- large straws (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Combine green tea with sugar; set aside.
- In medium saucepan, bring water to boil over high heat; add topioca pearls. Stir lightly and let pearls float to top.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, 25 mintues.
- Remove from heat and let pearls sit in water 25 minutes until chewy and translucent. Drain and drinse under cold water.
- Combine with sweetened tea in medium bowl. Refrigerate until neended.
- Blending in 2 batches, combine melon, ice cubes, orange juice and cocount milk in blender of food processor. Process until smooth.
- Place about 1/4 cup topioca mixture in bottom of large glass. Fill with melon mixture. Serve with straws, if desire.
