Chicken Salad with Mustard and Egg

- 1 whole chicken shopping list
- 3 stalks celery shopping list
- 1 onion shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
- water to cover chicken shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp mustard shopping list
- 1/2 cup sweet pickle relish shopping list
- 1 Tbsp sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup onions, finely chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Coarsely chop the whole onion and 2 celery stalks and put in a pot large enough to cook your chicken in.
- Add whole chicken, salt and pepper to taste, and enough water to cover chicken.
- Bring to a boil and cook until chicken is done and starts to fall apart.
- While chicken is cooking, hard cook the eggs, peel and chop finely.
- Remove chicken from pot..
- Discard skin and bones and dice chicken.
- Add chopped eggs, mustard, sweet pickle relish, sugar, finely chopped onions and celery and mayonnaise.
- Stir together to mix.
- Season with additional salt and pepper, if necessary, to taste.
