Onion Bread For Machines

- This recipe is for a medium or 1.5 pound loaf of bread shopping list
- Water: 1 1/4 cups shopping list
- Butter: 2 tablespoons shopping list
- White bread flour: 3 cups shopping list
- Dry milk: 2 tablespoons shopping list
- Brown sugar: 2 tablespoons shopping list
- Salt: 1 1/2 teaspoons shopping list
- onions (dried flakes ONLY): 1/2 cup shopping list
- Onion powder: 1/2 teaspoon shopping list
- Black pepper: 1 teaspoon shopping list
- Poppy seeds: 1 teaspoon shopping list
- yeast, active dry: 1 1/2 teaspoons shopping list
How to make it
- Put ingredients into the bread machine pan strictly in the order given. Program the machine for a 1.5 pound loaf. It can be baked with the white, rapid, or delay cycles.

Bread is a little on the heavy side but not by much. Think it is all that onion sucking up the water. Don't think it would hurt to back off some on the onion amount. It's nice and tasty. Don't want to give the impression I'm knocking it. A good savor...more
