Original Sock It To Me Cake

- cake shopping list
- 1 box Duncan Hines butter cake mix shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
- STREUSEL shopping list
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped shopping list
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon shopping list
- glaze shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter, room temperature shopping list
- 2 tablespoons milk shopping list
- 1 cup sifted powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Mix STREUSEL in a small bowl, set aside
- In large mixer bowl, combine cake mix, sugar, oil, and sour cream
- Beat in eggs, one at a time
- Add vanilla
- Pour half of mixture into a greased and floured Bundt pan
- Sprinkle the batter with the streusel mixture
- Add the remaining half of the batter
- Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour
- Cool for about 10 minutes
- Turn out onto cake plate or container
- GLAZE
- In bowl, combine the glaze ingredients, whisk
- Ice cake while it is warm
- May have to scoop glaze off of plate and spoon onto cake until it begins to congeal or thicken
- Delicious with a cuppa hot coffee! :)
