Love pound cake, this one has all the flavors you love in one cake. The glaze really enhances the cake.
Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 cup butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup margarine shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 teaspoon coconut flavor shopping list
- 1 teaspoon almond flavor shopping list
- 1 teaspoon lemon flavor shopping list
- 1 teaspoon rum flavor shopping list
- 1 teaspoon butter flavor shopping list
- 5 eggs shopping list
- 3 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 cup evaporated milk shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- ***GLAZE:*** shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon coconut flavor shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon almond flavor shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon flavor shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon rum flavor shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon butter flavor shopping list
How to make it
- Cream sugar, butter and margarine. Add the vanilla, coconut flavor, almond flavor, lemon flavor, rum flavor, and
- butter flavor. Add flour, baking powder and evaporated milk. Blend until well mixed. Bake at 300 in floured tube pan 1 1/2-2 hours.
- Pour cooled glaze over hot cake.
- GLAZE: Cook until sugar dissolves; cool. Pour over hot
