Easy Devenshire mock Cream

- 3 ounces cream cheese, room temperature shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sugar (I use Splenda) shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 cup whipping cream shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and salt; stir until well blended. Stir in whipping cream. With an electric mixer, beat mixture until stiff. Store in refrigerator.

what a great idea, Shirley! does it keep for a day or two? i will be able to use it on my apple cake *slobber* - will be just right. i never use 'normal' whipped cream for myself because it is to 'sticky' and sweet. this will be just right for me. t...more
