How to make it

  • Boil water
  • Rinse lettuce and chop off the root
  • Add all spices to water, add garlic, oil and vinegar
  • Mix well and test - marinade should be zesty, moderately sweet and sour
  • Make corrections if necessary to please your taste buds

  • Submerge lettuce leaves into marinade completely.
  • Leave to cool and refrigerate for at least 1 hour
  • -
  • Serve as a side dish with meat or fish
