Sunshine Chicken

Baked Chicken dish with a soy,honey sauce to put on rice.
Ingredients
- 2 cut-up chickens shopping list
- 1tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp basil or oregano shopping list
- 1/4tsp pepper shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 1/2c soy sauce shopping list
- 1/2c ketchup shopping list
- 1/4c honey shopping list
- 1/4c oil shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic,mashed shopping list
How to make it
- Sprinkle chicken with salt,basil or oregano and pepper. Place in a single layer,skin side up. Mix all sauce ingredients,pour 1/3 sauce on the chicken and bake at 350,uncovered for about an hour,(45 mins. if freezing),baste with remaining sauce.
- ( If frozen-reheat covered for about 1/2 hour)

This is a super easy sauce with a lot of flavor. I was worried about the pan clean-up but it came right off! I guess because of the oil added. Forgot to make rice but it was good without it. Added my picture, too. A bit more detail in IMI
