Amish Stewed Crackers

This is one of my favorite Amish dishes. I use leftover crackers, I mix and match them.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 (4 ounce) package Ritz crackers (1-2 sleeves depending how thick you want it, we use about 1 1/2) shopping list
How to make it
- This is only an approximation. I never do measure the items.
- I just dump milk in the saucepan, add butter and sugar (I never measure)....when it is heated. I add the crackers. This should be the consistency of really soft stuffing.
