- Country cabbage shopping list
- (a Paula Deen recipe) shopping list
- 4 slices bacon shopping list
- 1 cabbage, chopped shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- *Tony’s (that’s my personal tweak) shopping list
- 2-tbspn butter shopping list
How to make it
- In a heavy Dutch Oven fry down the bacon remove to drain and add the chopped cabbage.
- Let simmer for about one minute and then add 1 cup of water.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- *(And I added my little personal touch.)
- Cover and simmer until tender.
- Before serving stir n the butter and sprinkle with the crunched up bacon peices.
