Chart House Mud Pie

I used to love going to the Chart House, but they closed the one near us. They handed out their recipe for Mud Pie when you asked for it.
Ingredients
- 1/2 package chocolate wafer cookies, crushed shopping list
- 1/2 stick of butter, melted shopping list
- 1 Qt coffee ice cream (Brigham's, if you can get it) shopping list
- 1 1/2 C fudge sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Mix crushed cookies and melted butter
- Press into 9 " pie plate
- Spread softened coffee ice cream over crust
- Place in freezer to firm up
- Spread fudge sauce over ice cream
- Freeze approximately 10 hours
- Slice into 8 portions, serve on chilled plate with a chilled fork
- Top with whipped cream and slivered almonds
