Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 2/3 c. water shopping list
- 1 c. vegetable oil shopping list
- 3 c. white sugar shopping list
- 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp. nutmeg shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. cloves shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. ginger shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease and four three 7x3-inch loaf pans.
- In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, water and sugar until well blended. In a spearate bowl, whisk together the four, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger. Stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until blended. Pour into the prepared pans.
- Bake for about 50 to 60 minutes. Loaves are done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
