Garlic Feta Cheese Toast

This is a great side or appetizer that really goes well with pasta and other Italian main courses. I love this because you can really switch it up to suit your liking but the basic recipe is wonderful as well!
Ingredients
- 6 slices thick sourdough or choice French bread. shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 3 teaspoons garlic salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups crumbled feta cheese shopping list
- 1 cup olives/ tomatoes/ bell pepper/ artichoke hearts of choice (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Lay out bread slices on flat baking sheet and spread edges of each piece with butter.
- In a bowl mix feta cheese and optional extra ingredients (if desired).
- Spread feta mix on the middle and close to edges of bread slices.
- Sprinkle all slices with garlic salt and place baking sheet in preheated broiler on hi for 5 minutes or until edges of bread is brown and feta cheese is soft.
- Serve as appetizer or side to make a great meal!
