Polish Cottage Cheese And Noodles Recipe

How to make it

  • Fry onion in butter until brown.Turn off heat.
  • Boil noodles and drain
  • Add noodles to onion/butter, mix well and add more butter to taste
  • Add cottage cheese, sprinkle with black pepper(if you desire)
  • Mix well and cover for 5 to 10 min.

    Whenever I feel like having some "comfort food" I always make a pot of noodles mix in some cottage cheese and butter. I've never tried this with onions but I will thanks to your recipe. This really is an all-time favorite side dish here or a main meal at times. Thank you so much for posting your recipe!

    This was one of my dear mother-in-laws signature dishes. She added a little something extra and I could never put a finger on what it was. She also sprinkled fresh dill over the top. Thank you for posting this recipe!!!
