Maple Syrup Cake

- 2 medium eggs, beaten. shopping list
- 2 cups of flour. shopping list
- ¾ cup of maple syrup. shopping list
- ½ cup of butter. shopping list
- ½ cup of sugar. shopping list
- ½ cup of chopped pecans. shopping list
- 2 ½ teaspoons of baking powder. shopping list
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla. shopping list
- ½ teaspoon of salt. shopping list

- 2 ½ cups of powder sugar. shopping list
- ½ cup of maple syrup. shopping list
- ¼ cup of soft butter. shopping list
- ½ teaspoon of vanilla. shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Blend the eggs, maple syrup, butter, sugar, and vanilla.
- Sift the flour with salt and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to butter and egg mixture, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the pecans.
- Pour into well-greased pans and bake for about 20 minutes.
- Carefully turn cakes onto racks to cool.
- Ice with soft maple icing

- Blend the maple syrup, butter and vanilla until smooth.
- Gradually blend in the powder sugar.

This cake is seriously one of the best cakes I've ever tasted-doubled up the ingredients to make a huge cake and swapped the pecans for walnuts,taste sensation!!
