Noodle Surprise

My great granny made this for my mom when she was little, the surprise was whatever she had on hand. This coninues to be a family favorite and my 6yr old requests it for his birthday dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 bag wide egg noodles shopping list
- 1 can creamed corn shopping list
- 1 to 2 Tbsp butter shopping list
- 1/2 c milk shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1c cheese, such as cheddar, monteray jack, American, or Velveeta, shopping list
- shredded or chunked shopping list
- *optional ingredients: 1/2c frozen peas, frozen mixed vegetables, diced ham/turkey/chicken shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375
- Cook and drain noodles according to package directions and pour into casserole dish.
- Add butter and toss slightly to coat.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- Bake uncovered about 30 minutes until heated through and cheese is melty.
- *My family prefers this dish on the gooey, cheesy side, so I usually add more cheese and adjust the milk accordingly.
