From Erma_E_K_Monie 2 years agoIngredients
- 1 Gallon Water, Purified shopping list
- 4 Yogi Green Tea Kombucha bags [I get this at Amazon] shopping list
- 1/4 Cup Stevia, [4 Tablespoons] shopping list
- 1/4 Cup Honey, [4 Tablespoon] shopping list
- 2 to 3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice shopping list
- 1/4 to 3/4 teaspoon Ginseng Extract, [0.0416667 to 0.125 oz], may / can be omitted shopping list
How to make it
- I will be re-using an old Arizona Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey bottle.
- Into this bottle place all of the ingredients, EXCEPT, the water and the
- tea bags.
- (Shake well, after the first addition of fresh hot brewed tea, to be sure
- all of the ingredients are well mixed.)
- Place the tea bags into the basket of your electric tea brewing machine.
- Brew until you have re-filled an old Arizona Green Tea with Ginseng and
- Honey bottle.

- Cool and serve.
- Or drink hot, or even over ice...
- I am not an ice person.

- NOTES:
- 1. Due to the Kombucha tea bag, it may not be a perfect taste equivalent, however, Kombucha is great for gut health, and that is very important to me!
- 2. If using some sweetener other then Stevia, please check the ratio of that sweetener to sugar.
- 3. The original recipe calls for 1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar per recipe, and I have DOUBLED this recipe to make a gallon.

- So 2/3 rd's to 1 cup of sugar = whatever sweetener you are using.

- This is why I use Stevia, it is an all natural sweetener, from a plant:
- What Is Stevia?
- Stevia is a sugar substitute made from the leaves of the stevia plant.
- It’s about 100 to 300 times sweeter than table sugar, but it has no
- carbohydrates, calories, or artificial ingredients.
