Chicken Savoy

- 1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces shopping list
- 1/2 lemon shopping list
- 1 pkg. Zesty Italian salad dressing mix shopping list
- 1/8 cup extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1 cup chicken stock shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/3 cup grated Romano cheese shopping list
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
- Squeeze lemon juice over chicken, and rub with olive oil. Cover with mixture of dry ingredients.
- Place in Zipper bag, add stock, and marinate at least 2 hours, or overnight.
- Place chicken and marinate in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle with garlic. Season with salt and pepper and top with cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 to 60 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink inside.
- Pour vinegar over chicken and serve. (or make a balsamic reduction)

A good chicken marinade! I think if you really want the marinade to get into the chicken you should get it under the skin as well. Moist and flavorful! Thanks :) A little more in the IMI ------------> more
