Zannie's Black-eyed Pea Dip

- 1 can (15 oz) black-eyed peas (drained) shopping list
- 1/4 Onion, Chopped Fine shopping list
- 1/4 cup Sour Cream shopping list
- 8 slices Jarred Jalapenos, chopped shopping list
- 1 cup grated Sharp cheddar cheese shopping list
- 3 Tablespoons Salsa (your choice-Hot, Medium or Mild) shopping list
- Hot Sauce to taste (I use Sriracha) shopping list
- Salt and black pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In bowl, using a fork, partially mash black-eyed peas, leaving some whole
- Add all other ingredients, stirring to combine
- Spread into a 1 1/2 quart baking dish and bake for 20-30 minutes until hot and bubbly
- Serve with tortilla chips.
- I did not add any salt as I knew the cheese would add that element.
- Beware...addicting. DH & I eat almost all of this as a lunch snack.
