Mushrooms and Vermouth Soup

- 2 pounds of fresh mushrooms, chopped shopping list
- 6—8 tablespoons of unsalted butter shopping list
- 3 cups of white onion, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 4 (10 oz.) cans of chicken broth shopping list
- 2 cups Martini Rossi vermouth shopping list
How to make it
- In a large crock pot, melt butter on low heat
- Sauté the onions until soft
- Add the sugar
- Add only 2/3 of the chopped mushrooms
- Add flour, chicken broth and vermouth
- Simmer for approximately 2 hours
- Add remaining mushrooms upon serving
- Serve with fresh buns for dipping
