Cheryl's Lemony Cookies

- 1/2 cup butter, softened (no substitutes) shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 tblsp lemon extract shopping list
- 2-3 drops of lemon juice shopping list
- 1 1/3 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 3/4 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put butter and sugar into electric mixer on medium speed, beat until creamy. Add egg, lemon extract and lemon juice and continue to beat until creamy. Add flour, salt and baking soda and beat until combined. On an ungreased cookie sheet, put teaspoonful of dough on pan and 2 inches apart. Cookies will spread so be sure to place 2 inches apart. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until sides are golden brown.
