Pork And Sausage And Tasso Gravy

- 4 Pork Steaks ( boston butt steak) shopping list
- 1/2 lb of Tasso shopping list
- 1 lb of Sausage shopping list
- Seasoning ... your flavor... I mix my own... Salt/ pepper /red pepper / garlic powder shopping list
- 1 med onion chop up really fine shopping list
- 1 bunch of green onions chopped chop fine shopping list
- 1 bunch of parsley just cut a 3 tablspoons... chopped. shopping list
- 1 clove of garlic or 1 teaspoon of minced garlic shopping list
- 4 slices of pickled japaleno peppers diced up shopping list
- Cooking Oil shopping list
- Large Black / Cast iron Pot shopping list
How to make it
- Put oil in pot
- take meat (pork steak . tasso , sausage ) cut up into small pieces 2 inch in size ... or larger .. you can always use a knife an cut up if your mouth is small...LOL....
- Heat oil in pot med to high Place meat into pot and saute/ browing until brown not BURNT. take out of pot .. then add all of the other seasoning and saute' .. then after a saute' to the yellow or white onion is clear... put meat back into pot and stir around then add about a 8 oz glass of water . cover and turn fire/ heat to low med and keep a check you want to add some more water but not soupie...
- if you can't get it right add some kitchen bouquet an Shake an Blend by Wonder to thicken your gravy but the meat cook for about One and half hours before doing any kind of thicking if you don't have it right
- When meat is tender / you can serve over white rice...
